Advanced Cardiac Life Support Class
This AHA course is an advanced course designed for health care professionals who work in emergency care or critical care settings. The course builds on principles established in the AHA BLS cours that includes CPR, use of AED and team dynamics that addresses a variety of emergency settings includin cardiac arrest care.
Skills are taught through both hands on learning and class instruction. Students are given extensive instruction so that they are able to perform during simulated emergency scenarios.
Note: Those who are attending an ACLS review class are expected to know basic ECG & Pharmacology. We offer a preparatory course for those who do not possess this knowledge.

- Immediate Post Cardiac Arrest care
- Airway Management
- Rhythm Recognition
- 1 Person & Team CPR/AED, including team dynamics
- BLS & ACLS Surveys
- Megacode Dynamics and Treatment
- Stroke – identification and emergent priorities
- ACS – Acute Coronary Syndrome
All Students are expected to take the online pre-test and bring the completion document to class.

You can also get your BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification during this course by adding the AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Online Course
Complete Part 1 online via the Internet, print the completion certificate and bring it with you on the day of the course.
We will complete Part 2 & 3 “skills check” with after your ACLS course to get your official American Heart Association certification card the day of this course.
